Love this Pure

Amidst the December blues,
I found something quietly cute.

I was sitting right beside them,
working on something, the way a founder would.

Something caught my attention
as they started talking
about some movie connection.

Soon she mentioned
how she barely drinks water all day
Without thinking, he said,
“I’ll take care of that now, bae.”

She blushed, tucked her hair behind

He acted way too well,
but we both knew
he was a little shy.

Love,
I know I won’t explore you anymore.
Yet watching theirs,
so naive, so pure,
I found myself craving it for them for sure.

No mind games.
No bullshit.

It was innocent and pure,
the way love should be.

They carried that spark,
love always has.

They weren’t dating,
I knew that for a fact.

I wish one of them
makes the first move,
because love this pure
needs to be felt.
