Continuation of dost 1
Unquestionably, he gained a good social image, but in my eyes he was just a guy with hidden emotions and insecurities to fit in this world and to be the "perfect" guy. I definitely used some gawky words here such as "image", "fame" blah blah. Not to be mistaken, aren't these the words we use knowingly or unknowingly in our day-to-day life? Let's talk about some common stereotypes and prejudices which surely each one of has gone through, during various stages of our life. During our early years, elders make it very obvious to us that only a girl can only play with a doll and a guy is supposed to play with cars. A girl who makes guy friends is called a "slut" while a guy with many female friends is called a "stud". If a boy cries out, he is called a "girl." A guy is expected to be bold just to prove his manliness and a girl should be thin, fair and beautiful to make them appealing to people, most importantly "men". As it is said," If you never heal from what hurt you, you will bleed on people who never cut you." Maybe that's why he bled on me and misunderstood me. Also, living in such a prejudiced and stereotyped society like this, it isn't surprising for what my friend did. To sum it up all, I would say that maybe my friend was a victim of all these stereotypes and thereafter he might not even know that there are people who don't stand by these "typical low mentalities." I'd love if my friend would show his real side because trust me the right people would always stand by him, he would be the one who would love himself more because at the end self love is more important.
Remember, I am always there by your side .
