I've wanted to speak about this for a while but believed that it was too sensitive, so I skipped it. But today, while talking to a friend, I realized that many of us suffer from depression and we don't speak about it because we know others will judge us and we are too afraid to speak about it. Then we find distractions, we keep telling ourselves everything will be all right but it won't unless and until we do something about it. We suffer due to all that thinking and it keeps haunting us. I know no one understands what you are going through thats why you are silent but neglecting it isn't the solution . It's been cool now-a-days to make fun of mental health , that's why we are afraid to talk about this to our friends .Even I made fun of mental health just to fit in I would say, and many of us do and it's ok to be guilty about it but just don't repeat it . You don't need to fit in , you might lose a friend or been made fun of but atleast you won't regret later . Just cut off the toxic people around you cause it's better to be lonely then being disrespected . The thing we are going through we can't explain it to our family . I would say talk to a genuine friend, and it's ok if you don't have that one friend just text some stranger you know who is never gonna reply but taking out the bulk is really important . With depression comes anxiety that can't be explained . People think anxiety means only anxiety attacks but their are many more. Suddenly waking up sweating all over , urge to harm ourself ,not able to get off bed, sucidial thoughts and many more . I would say that if anyone you know who is very sad or upset or any change in their behaviour for a long period of time try to talk to them . They don't want sympathy they just need someone who can just give a hug , listen to what they are going through, let them cry without judging them. It will take time for you to be in a better state of mind. According to me just write your thoughts you are going through , all your problems and the first thing is accepting to yourself that you are not in a good state of mind .If it's been a while you are going through all this consult a therapist .
